I love our indie student newspaper.

We had a pro-war rally with a controversial guest speaker. The CSULB Campus Progressives came and fucked up the rally and acted very immature. Then, a VERY biased article was writen about the situation. Thus came letters to the Editor, half ass apologies, etc etc. The whole situation was hilarious, but it really gave the Campus Progressives a horrid reputation. Read the first article here.

Now, for the real reason I was posting. This comic is a caricature of Uduak-Joe Ntuk, the Campus Progressive representative who said some out-of-hand comments.

While she is ultra busy with work, school, etc., she has proven willing to work hard to get what she wants. Amanda has a great work ethic--far better than mine.

Her situation at home isn't great but she seems willing to change it when it she can safely do so. Again, she is thinking it through and not getting herself into a bad situation (high rent).

Amanda still has this innocence that I can't help but be charmed by.

She can be crude at times but she is real.

And I think she is a very good person. A genuinely kind person--the kind you want on your side.

She is also super cute. Or pretty? She is one of those girls that walks the line between being really cute and really pretty--most girls seem to be one or the other.

There are these times when she is really hyper, and goes on and on about work. But then she can be really peaceful and calm. I really like those moments when we are together.

I have to mention that figure. Yeah--mmmmmm.

Again, I had a complete entry typed out and dumbass me closed the window. I swear, sometimes... I really only wanted to say four things:

a.) The clouds are super pretty out right now. I wish Richie would go up to Angeles Crest and take some pictures.
b.) We bought new washer/dryer set. Our 22 year old dryer went kaputz over the weekend. Glad to see new ones.
c.) I bought a new sweatshirt. It's another CSULB one, but it's blue. I like it more.
d.) Fire Theft on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've waited a long long time. Pisser is they will be playing with Hot Hot Heat in two weeks somewhere in the Midwest. Poo. The last show posted on their site is in San Fransisco. Perhaps they will do ANOTHER LA show. Hmmmmmmmm!! You know I'll have tickets ASAP.
