CMLS is pleased to announce myCMLS a members-only area of the CMLS website When CMLS members log into myCMLS they will have access to the following information and resources:
· Real-time registration for all CMLS workshops and events
Registering through myCMLS is the fastest way to guarantee your seat in the workshops and events you want to attend. You will know immediately that your registration is confirmed or if the event is full you will have the option of being placed on a waiting list.
· Immediate billing
When you register for an event through MyCMLS an invoice is immediately generated that you can print out and pay.
· Access to personal registration information - past, present and upcoming
Can't remember what upcoming workshops or events you have registered for? Log into myCMLS and you can access information on your upcoming events as well as view a history of all workshops and events you have attended at CMLS.
· Access to information on unpaid invoices
Need another copy of an invoice? Through myCMLS you can see a report of all unpaid invoices and print out another copy.
· Links to update personal information
Need to update your address? Phone number? Change your password? Manage your personal information through myCMLS.
· Links to update membership information
Primary contacts for each member library have advanced access to additional features such as updating your library's information, updating staff information, and registering staff for events.
In case you hadn’t noticed our name change, the Chicago Library System is now the Chicago Multitype Library System. The new M in our name isn’t just for Multitype, is also represents many changes in our organization. M is for the new members only area of our website, myCMLS. M is for maximizing services to our members in spite of reduced funding. M is for meeting challenges with the good of our member libraries always foremost in our minds. But mostly the M in our new name represents the unique and valued members of CMLS. Your continued support and patronage is what it’s all about for us. Thank you.
Easily obtain your myCMLS login with our new automated system:
- Click myCMLS from any page on the CMLS site
- If you know your login info, enter and click login
- If not, click the Account Assistant Form link
- Type in your email address and if it’s on file, your ID/Password will be emailed to you immediately
- If no email is found in our database, please complete the Account Request Form and your ID/Password will be emailed to you within two business days or less
