Apple patches 34 exploits with latest security update: "Apple today released Security Update 2005-007 [...] Apple says the update delivers a number of security enhancements and is recommended for all Macintosh users."

Just as I was saying how long it was since needing to reboot the PowerBook. But I did the update, made the reboot, and all is back to normal (sans quite a few security issues).

I installed Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) on my PowerBook G4 over a month ago, and I haven't had to reboot since the 10.4.2 upgrade. The uptime is now 32 days and still going strong. Not bad!

I started to commute by bicycle in April, and so far I have about 2000 kilometers on the bike. My experiences encouraged to write a column about the physical fitness of IT workers (in Finnish, Pettääkö tietotyöläisen kunto?)
