End of the IE Explorer browser?

I picked this trail up from suave Vowe - end of the road for IE Explorer. With the current debate between thin-clients & intelligent rich-clients and also NTD (No Touch Deployment), the role of the browser will be drastically change. Jon Udell pointed out how Groove consolidates web browsing as well.
