What Radio Userland can learn from Groove

Face it, Radio Userland is buggy and I know of at least two very knowledgeable users who have (almost) given up on it. It is disturbing - adding links to my home page invariably leads to software crashes and disappearance of content. So I tread lightly but it leaves my cohorts and readers puzzled as to why I don't link to their pages when they link to mine. My other weblog at a site that is home-grown by some very enthusiastic .NETters, performs remarkably well.

Groove Networks recently released v2.5d - a notable feat since, in the past year, they have offered three (3) significant upgrades. Each release being more stable and responsive than the prior one. I think it's because they listen to their customers and in this 'drag-n-drop' end user computing world, it's critical to listen to your customers. I have yet to see any significant upgrade or patch (or informational newsletter) from Radio Userland. Abbott Joseph Liebling once said "Freedom of the press is guaranteed only to those who own one", to that I would like to add - and provided the press works.
