I'm back ...from visits to Birch Camp, Greenville, SC and Murphy, NC --- safe now that Eric Rudolph has been captured. I was almost tempted to log on last week to note two items on the NYC city council shooting: 1) Local officials, to their detriment, had made themselves (shock) exempt from the security screenings that they made mandatory for their constituents. Obviously, forgetting the story of Brutus, they were not afraid of each other as much as they are of the rest of us. 2) I thought handguns were already outlawed in NYC? 2:11:19 PM
