Near Truth in Marketing

Inspired by the Hardees Monster Thickburger I suppose, I read this on my new Denny's breakfast menu:

"Two eggs scrambled with chopped bacon, country fried potatoes, green peppers and onions, and topped with cheddar cheese. Served with two strips of bacon, two sausage links, hash browns and three fluffy buttermilk pancakes."

And what did they call this heart stopper: "The Heartland Scramble"

Disappearance

A busy week at work, computer adware/spyware infections and a sudden escape weekend to Snowshoe Restort to take advantage of nine new inches of snow all stacked up against the old blog.

A few fellow skiers in the know enjoyed my bomber jacket with the "Free-Market, Capitalist Patriot" logo on the back and the American Flag and gold dollar sign mark on the front.
