DR-CAFTA Trade Agreement The approve DR-CAFTA dog and pony show is coming to North Carolina: tomorrow in Charlotte and Friday in Raleigh. The WTC - NC affiliate launched by Governor Hunt is the main sponsor. From 1-4pm each day for $65, and undoubtably some of our tax money, we can listen to the ambassadors from Central America and the Dominican Republic who are being trotted out to tell us why this FTAA stepping stone agreement is such a good deal for North Carolinians. They have their work cut out for them as Mel Watt from the opposition party and Patrick McHenry and Virginia Foxx from the president's own party are already on record for giving this one a big NO vote. And, we know the Nays on this one still are in the majority becasuse the agreement still has not been brough to a vote. And if you thought those radical Birchers were the only ones our there with organized oppositon to these trade agreements think again. 4:24:15 PM![]() |
