An activity with superior benefits compared to simply watching TV.  This site has good links and RSS (Winer), which makes it easy to keep up with changes.

Email Dead?

With all the filtering, anti-spamming, etc -- getting a message to someone is almost as difficult as it was when telephones depended on Mable making the connection from her back porch!  So, all these email newsletters and other "publishing" devices are just falling into blackholes, according to Chris Pirillo (thanks to link from Robb).

Chris argues RSS is the new space for such publishing... makes sense to me.  Now, this defines a crucial benefit to web logs that can sell -- if you want to reach customers reliably, you need synidcated feeds that they subscribe to.  Create communities that bring the customer back time and again to see what is happening and how problems and innovations in that community can help their business.  Sort of like the ole pickle barrel at the general store...

What's an aggregator?

Seems that while I have been 'clipping' stories on RSS, the next logical step is learning and discussing aggregators.  NewsMonster, for example, seems to have alot of features that can be useful in managing and indexing research.
