I have to say this.

Number one on the children's NYT book list is entitled:

Walter the farting dog.  It is a picture book for 4-8 year olds.

I am not a prude, but, where is the decency in such a title, for 4 year olds!  No wonder legislators want to regulate everything in print whether on the internet or not.  Can we publicly flog the publisher, editor, author and their parents?

Humph..  saying it did not make me feel better.  At least Dr. Seuss is still on the list.
