Nose to the grindstone
Today I officially started studying at school right after class until 5:00 p.m. That means I studied for 5 hours, and I still haven't done everything that I really need to do tonight. Not much time to promote the MS Walk Benefit, but I'll need to work some of it in somehow.
General Chemistry for majors has proven to be an immense amount of information for a person to absorb who hasn't been in a Chemistry class since high school, about ten years ago. On top of that, Pre-Calculus Trigonometry has proven quite challenging also, as we are flying at a pretty quick pace. But with these classes I REALLY feel like I'm learning something. Too bad my GPA doesn't really give out that information. I'm no stranger to the Dean's list, but some As are harder to get than others.
I highly recommend the movie Chicago. My husband isn't a fan of musicals, but he loved this. We ran out and bought the soundtrack the same night. Even though this quick-paced play/musical makes light of murder, lies, and deception, the songs are awfully contagious and the stars are so beautiful and talented!
