Blog Cog
Well I admit this blog isn't living up to my expectations. Part of the problem is that I spend much more time reading than I do writing. Or I write, but not for this blog. Perhaps I've censored it too much, or I'm not really writing anything interesting, or I'm too tired to write much when I get around to it. I think I have saved my best for the letters to the editor.
I write for NCScene.com, my art site, the "Local Music Zine" which is distributed on a limited basis at area music venues & music stores. Plus, I was planning to cross post my local music reviews here, but that hasn't happened yet. I think I remember wondering if cross-posting mattered.
Ed Cone wrote a really great column in the News and Record (not online yet?) about another bill in the NC Legislature that died (other than H867). I agree totally that our government should not be telling us what we can and cannot do in the bedroom.
Sure, we're all scared and terrified of bygamy, incest and the like-but Mr. Republican What's Your-Name (not that I care or would be voting for you anyway), gay males should not be thrown in jail for making each other happy. Where's the Love, Man???
