The Register has a great opinion piece about M$'s patching Problems. I still think the old policy "Wait for the next service pack before applying the current to get a clue what they actually did break with it" is still valid. Regarding the opinion piece: couldn't agree more.

I guess Hollywood is scared to taste their own dogfood, "Sorry if you don't pay us a gazillion dollars, we can't renew the DRM key to your movies. Greetings Microsoft. What do you mean with you created the IP in the first place, no PHB in the IT-Industry cared about that, they're paying up until senseless to get their e-mails back."
