What kind of reasoning are we to use on the Semantic Web? "I became convinced of the importance of monotonicity for the semantic web after trying, and failing, to persuade Tim B-L that nonmonotonic reasoning was the proper way to go. He insisted that web logic had to be monotonic, and he was right." Pat Hayes But me thinks that it is not for Tim or Pat to tell us what kind of reasoning to use ... there is a plethora of ways agents can reason including our human agents who can reason from facts given to them in RDF.
