An interesting evening was in Boulder this afternoon drinking some sample beer with Dan (btw pumpkin's and beer DO NOT mix) and decided to call Chris Locke so that we could share with him the secrets of the universe (time division multi-plex---don't ask me, I'm not the astrophysics major) and I woke him up, HA.....anyway he said to call him back at 9pm and maybe we could get together later. We drove back up there and he got busy, he was expecting a phone call. I guess the secrets of the universe will have to wait till some other time Chris!

Tom Bridge blogged this morning about the Wall Street Journal getting called to go to court in Austrailia for a Libel case. Now as we all know the WSJ is published in America where our Free Speech laws are much different then our kangaroo brothers one th other side of the pond.

It's a never ending arguemnet where the Internet which blurs lines on a map creates controversy over free speech laws. The big question is what's the right answer? Or do we just have to be satisfied that maybe there isn't one?

I was thinking this morning and last night a lot about what drives us as human beings. What needs and wants do each of us strive for in life fuel our actions on a day to day basis? I think that for each person this is different but at the same time everyone of us has some basic need or want that makes us do what we do. In every action or encounter that we all have daily there are past experiences and current needs that make us act a certain way. But why is that different for each of us? Why does my need or want differ from someone else's need or want? Is it how we are brought up or is it our past encounters?

I think that when you really start to dive in to all of it that it's all psyche and each one of our psyche's is different. That's what makes us human.
