Blogging is dividing the world of journalism between those journalists in favour of blogging and those that wish to oppose the Google/blogging world. Andrew Orlowski, a journalist from the Register seems to have a real problem with Google, since on two occasions now he has driven a stake into the heart of Google activity. On the other hand there are journalists who are keen to blog and have been turned off by their employers. And then there are the journalists who have taken on blogging as a new radio station, or newspaper column. Journalists and bloggers need to understand that blogging is not journalism; blogging is about information management and knowledge building. [Elwyn Jenkins: MicrodocHeadlines]
