Vase and Astronomy, Drawings of Charles Ritchies. Working from yesterday's find, of drawings featuring a vase with a astronomical chart behind, allows for a different perspective- The small, ordinary vase set against the backdrop of vast spaces and time. We are star stuff. The hand crafted object....the observations and theories in astronomy. The heat of the kiln, the fused minerals ; the power of a billion suns, and their crushing pressure. (I could go on, but need some sleep.) What a refreshing opportunity, to look at these two subject area in a different juxtapostion.
