Blawg.org creates *new* Main Categories Link for Paralegals.  I'm tickled pink.

A Warm Welcome.   Tomorrow marks one whole month since I've been blogging in earnest.  And I must say that I am quite overwhelmed by the warm welcome I've received from the blogging community in general and from blawgers in particular.  Ernie told me how great blogging is, how much people help one another and share information, how much fun it is, how many really smart people there are out there, and a whole lot more.  But it's a different thing to be embraced by it.  I especially appreciate the bloggers who've linked to me and the blawg rings that have accepted my *para-blawg*.  I feel like the kid with her nosed pressed against the window of the candy store who finally makes it inside to get a close-up look at  all of the yummy stuff . . . mmmm!

ABA Approves Best Practice Guidelines for Legal Information Web Site Providers. Richard Granat reports that the ABA House of Delegates has unanimously approved the eLawyering Group's recommendations for Best Practice Guidelines for Legal Information Web Site Providers. This should be a major step forward in clearing up some of the confusion that lawyers making innovative use of the Internet have faced.  [net.law.tools]  Although this obviously doesn't apply to me, as a paralegal, it makes me curious what all of the blawgers out there think about it.

Lollapalooza set to return [CNN - Entertainment]  In the right setting this summer, this one could make me venture out to a rock concert again.  Especially to see headliners Jane's Addiction (Perry Farrell conceived the event in 1990, and the last was in 1997) and Audioslave (a/k/a Audiogarden), with Chris Cornell (formerly of Soundgarden), and Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk (formerly of Rage Against the Machine).  I went to Lollapalooza once with my sister Barbara, in July of 1995, at the Sandstone Amphitheatre (now, apparently, the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater), in Bonner Springs, outside Kansas City.  Maybe Babs will join me in some exotic place . . . (it could happen).

Blawg.org
Recommended Site : Blawg.org  Blawg.org is a very good and comprehensive source for law and legal related weblogs. It is the Yahoo of blawgs.  [kfsource]  This really does seem like the "Yahoo of blawgs."  In fact, it could also be the next-best-thing to having your own blawg.  Register for free here to become a member.

A Blog in Every Law Firm?  kfsource is pointing to this article by Rick Klau, which appeared in the May/June 2002 issue of ABA's Law Practice Management Magazine.  Since I wasn't yet blogging last summer and missed the article, I appreciated the link, especially since the idea of law firms using blogs for internal KM is so intriguing to me.
