Tomorrow evening is the start of our weekend retreat. I've been selected to be the attendant for the instructor (the person that refills her tea cup, and carries stuff for her). It's a great honor, and I'm very excited about it! I have no idea how many people will show up. I'm wondering what to wear, will I be sick and cough, will my peripheral neuropathy make me limp in front of everyone.... too many things to worry about!
I just finished washing Mac the Lab in preparation for our guests. Three people from the Maine sangha will be staying with us. I hope they find the accommodations pleasant. I know Mac will love having guests. Only thing is, he needs really doggy people, because he's pretty insistent at wanting attention when people first come, for about the first hour or so. After that he calms down, but he usually really annoys people who hate dogs.
I got my work paper done done done!!! Well, it's not quite done, but I sent it out for comments, and my boss then gave me another 2 weeks to complete it. Oh, how grand life is when you're done with your deadlines!
