Lazy?

I keep feeling like a lazy bum—and then I remind myself that I've actually gotten a lot done, if you count updating web pages! (Which I'd better, because a lot of days I'm not up to anything too physical.)

I've cleaned out all the dead links on my sf pages:
Carol's Science Fiction Page
Science Fiction & Fantasy Stories Online

Still need to add a bunch of new stuff, but at least everything there works now.

Have three baseball pages which are almost ready to go. Should have them online by the weekend.

Note: My scrollbars have all vanished. Weird! (Probably need to restart the computer—again.)

One More Fed-Up-with-MS Rant

Okay, it's happened again—and I'm really ticked off this time. (Like I was the last half dozen times or so it's happened before.) IE suddenly shut itself down with no warning, not the slightest hint that anything was wrong. Had several windows open as I jumped back and forth between them. Now I'll get to spend half an hour in the history file—IF that didn't get dumped too— trying to find everything again.

It's one thing if Microsoft doesn't bother to worry about being compatible with their competitors' software, but it's really hard to fathom them messing up their own stuff. (Of course, they have always shown themselves too busy getting on to the Next Big Thing to bother tweaking something that's almost-but-not-quite right already.)

(For those of you who Want to Know these things, I'm using IE 6.0 on Win XP Home.)
