News headline told me that a quoll is some sort of life form. Reading the article told me that spotted-tail quolls are endangered Australian animals. Since the article was written for an Australian audience, that was as much info as it gave. (Apparently they assume that Australians have heard of these marsupials before.) So it's off to Google I go.
