Not A Model Patient
So I'm sitting here resting "uncomfortably" while taking my regimen of medications:
- Acetaminophen/Codeine - every 4 hours
- Vioxx 25mg - twice a day
- Valium - as needed to relax muscles
- Ambien 10mg - at bedtime
I got my first real night's sleep since Saturday last night. I'm feeling guilty because of all the work left undone in the office and for all the things I could be doing around our place on a day off that I can't freakin' do because of the sharp pains shooting down my right leg. I thought I'd redesign this blog a bit but I can't even focus enough to do that. Damn, I just don't make a good sick person. I'm just not a patient patient.

More On The Splendid Splinter
Michele weighs in on the Splendid Splinter's fate:
here lies ted, there lies his head. If you've been imagining Ted Williams resting comfortably in his afterlife, floating in a pool of liquid ice, silently waiting for the day when they find a cure for what ailed him and bring him back to life, think again.... [A Small Victory]
Even though I'm a life-long Yankee fan and absolutely hate the Red Sox, it's a truly sad end for a great great athelete.
