Hmmm... looks like someone over at VersionTracker must be interested in NewtSync. With the last few updates I've gone to make my entry there up-to-date, and they've beaten me to it. Maybe they have a way of scraping Web pages.

Amazing electric boner machine. A Norweigan scientist has developed an electric "Viagra alternative."

Electrical engineer Birger Orten invented the simple stimulator. The contraption is comprised of a narrow, thin ring with advanced energy transferral that is placed at the root of the penis.

The machine has no side effects, needs no prescription and works immediately. It can also be mounted inside a condom.

One note: My earlier post made it sound like my only motivation for finishing NewtSync is monetary. This isn't the case at all; while I started NewtSync for this purpose, and because I saw a business opportunity, I push forward so quickly in part because of the incredible support and enthusiasm of the Newton community. I only wish there was a group of Mac webmasters out there that would be so helpful in the development of my new Web product...

Just finished NewtSync 0.2c. This version fixes lots of TCP/IP problems, as well as some caching issues with the AddressBook. I've tested this pretty thoroughly so it should work pretty well. *crosses fingers*

My motivation for selling 300 copies of NewtSync: the new Infiniti G35 Coupe. From a practical standpoint, I'm moving back to San Francisco and will start commuting 50 miles each way, 100 miles per day. Again. And my Eclipse has about 80,000 miles on it, the point at which, if excessively driven, any product that Chrysler touched will start turning to dust. Ever since day one it's plagued me with consistent and sometimes expensive problems not covered by their warranty. Last week when I was waiting at a drive-through a plastic fastener popped off and hit my leg. I'm still not entirely sure where it came from. (And from an impractical standpoint, I just plain want the Infiniti.) Downpayment money aside, the money I save on repairs will make up for a slightly higher payment.

Tablets Mightier Than the Keyboard?. Many companies have tried, and failed, to make pen-based PC's. Microsoft is now trying again with its Tablet PC operating system. I want a tablet Mac. The built-in handwriting recognition in Jaguar (which is based on Newton technology) just begs for it. [New York Times: Technology]
