Iconfactory has posted volume 4 of thier ultra-cool World of Aqua icon series. I have no idea what I'd use these icons for, but they're sure pretty.

NewtSync 0.3g posted. Slogging through the bugs... this release fixes five of them and eases support for myself by enforcing that you install a matching version of NewtSync on the Newton every time.

I look at some of my friends' blogs (especially those on LiveJournal) and I see highly personal entries where they convey their emotions and relate to their day's events. I wish I could do that; I don't have the ability to convey much emotion even with those who are close to me; I'm way too stoic for that. So the ability to be publicly emotional is astounding to me, and I admire it. I have to accept my stifled emotions as part of my personality, part of being raised by a German-descended family in the Midwest.

I'll certainly never write any romance novels. "When I looked into those piercing eyes I thought, 'hmm. okay, why not; I have no other plans for the next hour or so.'"
