Well, it wasn't actually cocoa, but close. It was a grandé non-fat, no-whip mocha (a bit much, I know, but it could be worse) at the local Starbucks where I was enjoying getting out of the house while staying on the net. A clumsy bump against the table and there was mocha everywhere--including on and in my TiBook. There was a brief moment of panic when the screen looked really strange, which I think was due to an intermittent short when I tipped the laptop and moved some liquid around inside.
I went home and opened up the TiBook, and I think I've cleaned it up pretty good. It seems to be working fine, and there is only the slightest scent of mocha still emanating from the keyboard. (I probably need to remove the keycaps and clean that up a bit more.) |
