Relaxation, Romance and Rum

After several weeks of wonderful respite in far away places, I am once again home. My journey took me well over 12,000 miles through numerous climatic changes, several world time zones and many different adventures. The first leg of my trip was an overnight trip to New York where I then transferred to another aircraft and eventually landed in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Upon arrival the day was sunny and the air noticeably more humid than that I left behind.Paradise_Found  After securing my luggage and finding my waiting taxi, I was wisked away from the small tropical airstrip to my hotel, The Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort and Spa located on the east side of the island. While my room was being made ready, I was invited poolside to partake of some much needed refreshment, that being the island rum which flows even moreso than that of the casading waterfalls into all three of the properties pools. Shortly thereafter, I found myself in my oceanfront suite on the seventh floor, and throwing open the french doors to the balcony, I marveled at the view you now see before you. I had certainly found paradise...and this was ONLY my first day!
