Two more awards for Plone

First, from our good friend Giuseppe Romagnoli in Brazil, news of Plone's use and an award:

I have a great new about the BrasilGov Portal. It is the official Brasilizan portal that takes care of all information to the citizen. This portal has most of its content in 3 languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish. This portal is very important for Brazilian government as a strong channel between government and citizen.  It is one of the ten best government sites as selected by IBEST.

Next, an industry award for Plone used by an EU administration.

oXygen 7.1 supports Berkeley DB XML

This one was really fun for me, based on the pet project I've been tinkering around with.  I've been playing with XQuery for semi-structured data (like, you know, a CMS) using Sleepycat's Berkeley DB XML.  There are several things about this model that appeal to me, with one being the prospect of good tool support through the use of supported standards.  For example, Stylus Studio had support for XQuery and Berkeley DB XML.

I use oXygen as my XML studio, though.  With the new 7.1 release, they support XQuery against Berkeley DB XML.  This means I can open my "CMS database" and write reports against it using the features (autocomplete, syntax checking, visualizing output, joins against remote sources, validation, etc.) of the studio.  oXygen has a nice screencast showing showing some these features.  I'm using this combination on OS X and Windows and it is already useful.
