Holy cow! I got my DLINK DWL-650+ wireless networking card to work under RedHat 9 tonight. It was a bit of a battle, but I followed the instructions on this page and did a bit of work on my own. I had to put a "sleep 1" statement in the start_net script after each iwconfig statement. If I didn't do that, my ESSID and some other settings weren't being set. If you are curious about what is being set and what is not, run the iwc script in the scripts directory and it will tell you what is set for your card.

SO, I'm now up wirelessly with Linux and I'm 128 bit WEP! Woohoo!
