Can Ann Coulter Ever Shut Up?

My love affair with Ann Coulter is well-documented, and generally, I go out of my way to avoid listening to or reading anything she has to say.

But then I came across a video that shows Coulter (a.k.a. Conservative Covergirl) on a Fox panel and her dislike of Canada, and I just couldn't help myself.  A few choice quotes:

  • They are lucky they are allowed to exist on the same continent [as the United States of America]
  • They better hope the United States doesn't roll over one night and crush them.
  • And they speak French.

The video also shows Tucker Carlson being his usual horse's ass self.  This is how he's bounced back after being bitch-slapped by Jon Stewart a couple of months ago?  A few of his best quotes:

  • [Canada] would be invaded by Norway if it weren't for the United States.
  • The average Canadian is busy dogsledding.
  • In the end, Canadians with ambition move to the United States.

So in other words, if you're Canadian, and you're still in Canada, you're worthless.

This is the kind of arrogance that feeds into the rest of the world's incredibly negative image of the U.S.  This kind of crap spewing out of conservatives mouths makes life for any Americans traveling or living outside the confines of the U.S.'s borders feel that much more uneasy.  Who wouldn't hate Americans after listening to such hateful, inconsiderate, self-centered remarks that do nothing but fuel the already raging anti-American fire that has spread across the globe?

Hell, after watching that video, I hate myself right now.  Damn I suck.
