My cell phone started giving me trouble last Thursday. At first I could make calls intermittently. Then I couldn't make any calls at all. I traveled to Idaho with a backup phone, but that one wouldn't charge. I was really out of touch.

Mikey said that his theory is that "some day only the rich won't have cell phones." That is along the lines of my thinking. The way I put it is that if you're really important you don't need a cell phone.

Well, I must not be important, because I really missed my cell phone. Getting back home late Wednesday I spent an hour or so picking up voicemail message once I got to a land based phone. One of them went along this line, "where are you? Have you fallen off the face of the earth?" No, just didn't have a cell phone........
