A developer considering using Oracle ADF has started a thread over on Java Lobby asking for comments on other developers' experiences with the ADF framework. I though some of my readers might be just the people he might be looking to connect with to get your feedback.

Worldwide Support alerted me to another customer last week that had run into Bug 3608723, a subtle issue where under certain circumstances (involving framesets, popup windows, and/or browser back button) a user's edits posted back to a DataPage can get ignored by the ADF DataAction.

The bug is fixed in the JDeveloper 10.1.2 maintenance release, but I wrote up a little note describing a straightforward workaround if you need to stay in JDeveloper 9.0.5.2 for any reason in the near term.
