Wilfred van der Deijl over at OraTransplant wonders, " Why is JHeadstart not at OOW2005?"
I cannot speak for any presentation proposals that the JHeadstart Team might have submitted for consideration at OpenWorld themselves, but I submitted the same presentation proposal called "Declarative Productivity for Web Applications with ADF Business Components and JHeadstart 10g" to a number of different user groups, including Oracle OpenWorld. While the "Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) Best Practices and Common Pitfalls" presentation that I put together with Duncan Mills did get selected, my JHeadstart related proposal didn't.
On the other hand, I'll be doing the "Declarative Productivity for Web Applications with ADF Business Components and JHeadstart 10g" talk in October at the UKOUG 2005 conference in Birmingham and at the Croatia Oracle User Group conference in Umag, as well as in November at the German Oracle User's Group Konferenz 2005.
I'll also be doing a JHeadstart Demo as part of the "From Forms Developer Today to Java Developer Tomorrow" seminar in the Middleware Track of the XTreme Pre-Conference Weekend to give attendees an idea of what is has to offer. |
