I've added the slides of my Oracle OpenWorld talk from Thursday to My Recent Presentations page. Although it was on the final day of the conference, I was encouraged by the reasonably large crowd of developers that showed up. It's hard to truly pack the cavernous rooms in Moscone center, especially for a topic that is not related to the core Oracle Database directly, but the turnout exceeded my expectations, so that was nice. The year before they scheduled me at the same time as a rescheduled Ken Jacobs keynote, so attendence was meager in competition with "Dr. DBA".
