Just finished reading the owner's manual on my new Ford Focus. And I definitely learned something useful. My 2002 Grand Caravan is the first car I have owned where the spark plugs don't need to be changed regularly. I was familiar with that development in automotive technology, and looked forward to the day I would own such a car. But I hadn't known that there was such thing as a lifetime air filter!

Oh, and next on the horizon (actually, rapidly working its way into production) are tire air-pressure sensors that alert you if your tires are low. But you still have to fill them up yourself!
