It now appears that wreckage from the shuttle Columbia has fallen in California and Arizona. If so, it means the break up occurred much earlier than had been previously though. This article in spacetoday.net has more on the investigation.

This article (iBlog enables Weblogging through .Mac) onMacCentral caught my eye. I downloaded the application in question and it's not bad. I still need to play around with it a little before I can come to an informed opinion.

Last night's ClubMac meeting was a great success with almost 40 people attending. I was getting worred about attendance in recent months. However, the fact that we advertised The Merrion Cricket Club was full and if we get more for next month's meeting I don't know where we're going to put them all.

Charlie Ardagh gave a great presentation on wirless local loop broadband and quite a few people were interested in it. Personally, I think it's a great product and I was all set to sign up for it but now that Eircom has slashed its ADSL price, I'm not sure.
