Hitchhiker gets a lift Cinescape reports that after 20 years in development hell, the movie adaptation of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy has been given the thumbs up. Garth Jennings will direct from a script from Chicken Run scribe Karey Kirkpatrick. Filming will start in the UK next year. No word on casting yeat.
