FOREIGN MISSIONARIES BEING INVESTIGATED BY PSB - RCMI
Some of our missionary friends in Yunnan, China are experiencing great difficulties. They have had to leave their home and move about from place to place due to investigation by the PSB (police). While they have been away, the PSB has visited their house and they will now have to stay away through the end of the year. This is especially trying as they have young children. The main reason that they are not able to return for some time is because the locals working with them are having the same troubles and the consequences for them being involved are much heavier than for a foreigner. Please pray for this network of friends, both the missionaries and locals, for their safety ,and the continuing work that they must now oversee from a distance.

China Readies for Possible Return of SARS. China is preparing for a possible return of the SARS virus, with one northern city checking travelers for fever and experts warning the disease is certain to re-emerge. The virus will "definitely come back," the official Xinhua News Agency on Monday quoted an official of the government's China Disease Control Center as saying.
