Can I Get a Glass Top? I'm having trouble finding a glass top for the coffee table base I made a couple of weeks ago. It needs to be about 50 inches wide at the widest point and about 36 inches high. It's a pointed teardrop shape. I got one estimate that was ridiculously high ($674), when the real price should be less than $200. The folks at ReadyMade magazine were responsive to my question about where to find an economical top, but I haven't had much luck yet. 1:02:50 PM    comment []

Cool weblog: Transition Game: sports+tech In reading this story today in Slate about how high-tech materials in tennis rackets (titanium, carbon fiber, etc.) are , I was pointed to another site, Transition Game, that focuses on the intersection of sports and technology.
