i am so avoiding finishing my work tonight, I was so gung ho earlier but I stopped to eat dinner and watch tv, then thought hell, why don't i try this pay per post thing out and didn't realize when you click on reserve an opportunity, you needed to do it right then.  Just trying it out a little, see if I can make any money by blogging unless you just want to donate for the hell of it. I finally billed all my clients today..wow, if everyone pays up within 30 days, I'm good, all bills paid and then some but I'm not holding my breath that will actually happen. I'm behind and I have a project deadline for a website in two days and of course, I'm avoiding finishing it right now..the question is, do I sleep or get my butt motivated, maybe a shower will help, an energy drink or two. And the best news of the yesterday, I bought a new car, I traded in the car and the truck and only lost a little money on the deal - I knew that was going to happen since I just bought the truck 8 mos ago and truck values have gone down the dark black hole but the new car/crossover is a Saturn Vue - I'll post pics soon..gotta play with it a little too..road trip anyone?

**disclaimer, this is one of those payperpost things and you know I wouldn't do it unless I found something interesting to actually give an opinion on**

As a small business owner and a bookkeeper, alot of my clients ask me why they should incorporate or what are the benefits of incorporating and this site ClickandInc  (and I guess I have to put this in here: incorporate a business)actually explains it in simple, easy to understand terms and I'll actually refer my clients to the site and use it to explain why incorporating is a good idea for their business.

So a couple of reasons why incorporating is a good idea (1) No personal liability for obligations or debts from your business - btw can be a really good thing especially if you own a house, you don't really want someone coming after your home because of a business debt. (2) Incorporating gives you more professional image - potential clients see incorporation and think that you are a real business - I have several clients ask me whether I was incorporated or not, gives potential clients the impression that you are around for the long haul.

Another question, clients ask me is how to do it, its relatively easy and you don't need an attorney either. You can use ClickandInc's site (incorporate a business in any state) to setup a corporation in any state and there are several other sites out there as well but ClickandInc is actually cheaper than the one I used which definitely wins my recommendation for clients.

My clients also usually ask me what are the benefits of during types of corporation and honestly I've never really been able to answer this before until now and now I actually understand my S Corporation. Some of the difference between and S Corp, a C Corp and a LLC are S Corp can only be owned by a US Citizen, tax on the business is paid by the owners individually not the corporation which sometimes, most times is a lower tax bracket and owners can deduct business loss on their individual tax returns, for more detail differences and a handy little chart, check it out here. So how do you know which is better for you, it depends on what you're after. form an llc is like an S Corp but with subtle difference, S Corp can save money on employment taxes while an LLC can't, an LLC has to pay self-employment tax while a S corp only pays employment taxes on their paychecks and the remaining income is a distribution to the owners, savings money, there's benefits to forming an S Corp over an LLC, more details can be found here.

Benefits of using ClickandInc (1) its cheaper than other sites to form a corporation including the one I used to setup my corporation, (2) its got all the explanation of what, why, where and how to form a corporation and I can use it to explain to my clients on the hows/whys/benefits of forming a corporation (3) they are part of a larger network for writers and artists - gets my vote, Click Industries, which as soon as I have time, I will be checking out.

Anyways, that's my 2 cents of an opinion for ClickandInc (wish I had known about the 4 months ago, could have steer a client that way instead of what they did when they formed their corporation, that was a mess, but another story in itself).
