Acclaimed travel book is paella in the sky, claims flamenco tutor.
I find the newspaper article a better read than the book, which didn't do much for me. The book makes it look way too easy. Guy in his twenties, having never played guitar, picks up Flamenco and plays Buleria and Solea after a few months. Does not happen! Basically a rich kid went to Spain and heard a bunch Flamenco stories he turned into a book and apparently a lot of cash.Here is the site of Jason's Flamenco guitar teacher, Rafael.
