Long conversation and climb up highway nine
On yesterday's whine and dine ride I rode up route nine. On the way up I mostly rode with John Morgan.
We talked a lot. It was a good conversation, it made me think and it brought up memories of other bike ride conversations. That is one of the best things about bike riding, it is an opportunity for a lot of things.
Besides the good conversation, for me it was a good climb. I was having trouble staying hydrated and at the top I arrived in a pool of sweat and was getting leg cramps. "That was an easy ride!" John exclaimed. For me it was a good ride, but not easy.
All these guys are great riders. I do enjoy riding with them. It's fun and a challenge.
