Scooter rallys are fun!They are a lot like bike club events, but with motors.
They are social events as well as rides. The weekend I bought my scooter I attended the September Schindig rally in Los Gatos. I was only there for the start of the Saturday ride. It was a great opportunity to look at scooters and meet scooter people. Last Saturday I actually rode in a scooter rally for a short distance. This was with the California Cushman Club near our San Jose home. It was an older group and equally as friendly as the folks I met at the Schindig. It was a lot of fun. Listening to them give out the pre-ride instructions reminded me of an ACTC club bike ride.
