Another day in Paradise
Steve Sloan's weblog. A bit tech, a bit bikes, a bit family, a bit friends, a bit yoga, a bit photo, a bit trains, and a bit fun. Eight bits; that's a byte!

What a great weekend!

Celebrants at 2003 Whine and Dine Ride Finale Party
Saturday we had the last Whine and Dine bike ride followed by a party at our house. Tyler French led about 14 of us in a blind wine tasting. A good time was had by all, and everybody made it home fine. It was a great way to end a great cycling season!

Sunday, we just relaxed and watched the BMC San Francisco Grand Prix on TV. This is a world class event, like one of the European Spring Classic one-day races. Some speculate it is Lance Armstrong's last race on US soil. Time will tell.

Monday I got older. I took my birthday off. Susie made me breakfast in bed and later I spent time with Jeff and Nicole. They took me out to lunch. I also spent a lot of it hanging out with Jeff at his new workshop. I also did some work around the house and rode my scooter. That evening Susie made dinner and we had a quiet celebration at home.

Today I rode my scooter to work for the first time.
