Chessie!
Please let me interrupt the serious aspects of life to discuss some fun stuff. What I am talking about, in a word, is kitties! This is a picture of our blue boy. He is sleeping on the breeder's daughter. Susie has decided that we are going to take him even though he has turned out not to be the platinum color we wanted. I think she made the right choice! He is a definite sweetie.
The naming of him is up to her, but I am hoping for Chessie. This name comes from the cat that was the logo of the Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) and Chessie System Railroads: 
They got the name from the Cheshire Cat of Alice in Wonderland. Also, Chessie was the name of two previous cats our family had. Both Chessies were among the best cats I have ever had in my entire life. Both of the previous Chessies were real gentlemen. We nicknamed them "Mister Cheese." When I see this photo, all I can think of is Chessie!.
