Al-Jazeera I just watched a fascinating edition of the BBC2 programme Correspondents. A BBC team spent several weeks filming behind the scenes with Al-Jazeera, starting just before the first coalition attack on Iraq on 20 March till shortly after the station's offices in Baghdad were bombed. Unfortunately the programme isn't online, but I notice on the BBC Web site that they will send out videotape copies of the programme to anyone who wants one for £25 for a PAL version and £35 for an NTSC version. Dutch mediumwave update As expected, Arrow Classic Rock is now on 675 kHz in place of Radio 10 FM. Surprisingly, Arrow is still on 828 too. I guess this overlap will be for a few days. They're only announcing 675 + cable now. Also surprisingly, Radio 192 is still on 1332 kHz. This frequency has not yet been allocated to a new licence holder. 1008 kHz is now off, and so apparently is 891 kHz, which has been allocated to Radio 538. 1:00:50 PM     comment on this entry []
