Radio 10 FM update
I don't know if it's significant, but Radio 10 FM has started using some new sung jingles which mention only "dertien vijf en negentig" i.e. 1395, its mediumwave frequency. Given that such jingles cost money to make, I imagine they wouldn't have bothered to have them made if they expected to vacate that frequency in the near future. It's also nice to hear more ads back on the station, though I suspect the sales department at Talpa Radio have been busy selling package deals to advertise on Radio 10 as well as sister station Noordzee FM. The presenters sound happy in their new surroundings, and unless something significant happens in the meantime, the next big moment for Radio 10 should be the next set of listening figures due out towards the end of September. But even that won't tell the full story, as Radio Veronica 103 FM (assuming it launches on schedule on 31st August) will not appear in the equation until two months after that.
