Radio Veronica 103 FM update
Good news! Contrary to yesterday's reports, agreement has now been reached with the Belgian authorities to allow the radio ship Norderney to leave Antwerp. It started its journey at 0200 local time this morning, and is bound for its original desination, Monnickendam. However, in order to get permission to move the ship, the two radio masts have been dismantled. Lots of photos at people.zeelandnet.nl/pulzar/veronica/
From Kristian at Sky Radio we've received the following update about the launch of this eagerly awaited Dutch oldies station on Sunday 31st August:
Live transmissions start at 1500 CET (1300 UTC). The official opening will be at 1800 CET (1600 UTC) by Bull Verwey, who started the original Radio Veronica. On the first day, the station will be looking back at the history of Veronica.
As most of you know, Veronica will be playing the best music from the 80s and 90s. Here is the schedule as of Monday morning (all times Dutch local time):
