Here am I, a follower

I am usually only a peripheral observer of the chivalry of one Chris Choi, though I have known of it for some time, but I finally decided to take up one of his time-idling projects because, well, I want to.  :)

So here's my Soundtrack for Life.  I'm more or less working on this as I go, so who knows what's going to come out. (And I'm watching Formula 1 timing at the same time...Kimi Raikonnen is already out in the first corner :( )  Some were easier than others, and some were just the "I couldn't think of anything else" variety.  So here it goes.

Track 1 When i was born:
Skypark - "Am I Pretty?"  (enough for you?)

not really much to say there.

Track 2 As a kid:
The Oak Ridge Boys - "Elvira"

Sorry kids, if it's going to be about my childhood, it has to be a country song.  No two ways about it.  (Honorable Mention - "Take Me Out to the Ball Game")

Track 3 Mischief:
Francis - "The Whitebread Plan"

I had something different and changed it when I realized I'd horribly overlooked the obvious choice.  If you ain't got the funk, child, I ain't got the time.

Track 4 When boy meets girl:
Vroom - "I Get Nervous"

Cheesy, silly song, but pretty representative of infatuation.  Besides, I have to save my better songs for down the list..(Honorable Mention:  Starflyer 59 - "Your Company")

Track 5 At Work:
The Offspring - "Why Don't You Get a Job?"

Sounds like a good question to me.

Track 6 Realization that you're in love:
The Choir - "A Moment in Time"

Fiddlesticks.  This is proving more difficult than I thought.

Track 7 In the wee small hours:
AP2 - "The End"

Vampire music.

Track 8 Humiliation and defeat:
Project 86 - "Stalemate"

Six seconds of defeat, six years of agony.

Track 9 When things all fall into place:
Too Bad Eugene - "Morning Song"

Just a fun one.

Track 10 Slow Dance:
The Gravity Show - "Halo"

Possibly one of my favorite songs ever.

Track 11 Bad days:
Poor Old Lu - "My World Falls Down"

Seems logical to me.

Track 12 Feeling Lonely:
Vigilantes of Love - "Solar System"

What's one more hopeless case?

Track 13 Rainy Passionate Moment:
Coldplay - "The Scientist"

Cliche maybe, but epic nonetheless.

Track 14 Stress:
Norma Jean w/Aaron J. Weiss - "Memphis Will Be Laid to Waste"

Though in reality, if I listened to that song stressed, I'd pop a blood vessel surely.

Track 15 Lovin'
Bon Voyage - "Honeymoon"/"Kiss My Lips"

Need two songs for this one.

Track 16 For no Reason
Starflyer 59 - "Underneath"

Here's my excuse to get an SF59 song on the list.

Track 17 Song i would be Singing in the shower
Pedro the Lion - "When They Really Get to Know You, They Will Run"

Really, they will.

Bonus Track:
The 77's - "Denomination Blues (That's All)"

That's all.

Montoya leads at lap 38.
