Whoa I've missed two whole days in posting, please accept my profuse apologies for my infidelity.  This has been a pretty sluggish week, mostly spent fretting about the reporting story I have due at midnight tonight (I am finished with the gathering process, thanks mostly to a 45-minute interview this morning yielding good results.)  I need to write it yet, however, so that's still upcoming.  The class is still lurching along, thanks to my choosing a beat that isn't well defined, and my general timidness.  Oh well, I guess it's better to make your mistakes in a class (though your poor grade isn't a good resume builder).  Rod Roddy, the voice of "The Price is Right" passed away last week.  Did anyone else wonder why there was always a PSA about getting your pets spayed and neutered at the end of every episode?  I didn't even know the show was still running; and as Allison's answering machine knows, I can still hum several bars of the theme song.  (After many, many years.)  For my next trick, I will resume telling you all how wonderful I am.  Stay tuned!  12:23:13 PM    comment []
