But they didn't say anything about the backseat Moscow Reportedly Considers Kissing Ban (AP). AP - Don't kiss and tell — and certainly don't tell the police in Moscow, where city authorities are reportedly considering levying fines for public displays of affection.
As part of an effort to "improve morals" in the Russian capital, its government is working on an order that would prohibit kissing in subways and other public places, the newspaper Stolichnaya Vechernyaya Gazeta reported on its Web site. It said the ban was being considered at the request of police and the city's education committee.
"Children do not need any sexual education classes in school ... they get amoral lessons every day when they see what goes on around them," the newspaper quoted committee member Tatyana Maximova as saying. "People are making out even on the escalator in the metro. Something must be done about this."
I'd be all for that.

To sleep, to sleep My brain is willing, but my body is weak.
Idle boasting. Perhaps it's a common vein with those in the broadcast profession, I smirk in their general direction.
Been thinking recently about reporters with agendas, or without agendas, or without agendas and accused of having them. The story I finished up last week was a profile of someone I disagree with on just about everything imaginable, but over the course of the interview I kept stopping myself from playing devil's advocate because I was afraid that was knocking down the separation between my reponsibilities as a journalist and the "rest" of my life. In retrsopect, I don't think it would've been wrong to try and get the conflicting angle in the story, even if said angle happened to be what I agree with as a non-reporter. But I didn't, at least not yet, though it might make an interesting piece down the line. We'll see. But I've noticed how that affects me.
